Palm Beaches and South Florida offer endless possibilities for travel, and we can help you plan your afternoon, evening and weekend activities during your stay in West Palm Beach. Our Student Services Coordinator can assist you with plans for weekend trips. We can make suggestions based on your interests and help you to plan the perfect getaway during your time off from school.

You can choose from hundreds of different activities. We will be happy to help you to make arrangements or you can choose to be accompanied by your instructor for 2 to 6 hours a day. These "classes outside the classroom" offer first-hand experience as the most efficient way to receive cultural orientation and acquire general knowledge of English during the activities with your instructors.


The premier destination in Palm Beach County is the center of Downtown West Palm Beach and offers a mix of over 80 national stores, specialty shops, restaurant and entertainment venues. Dramatic Mediterranean architecture, a historic cultural arts theater, private residences, commercial office space, a spectacular show fountain and open-air plaza add to the atmosphere reminiscent of a European town center.

Clematis Street

The new, award-winning Downtown Waterfront Commons is the focal point of Clematis Street, alive with visitors enjoying the fountain, waterfront yacht harbor and picturesque Lake Worth Lagoon views. Clematis Street is also home to a year-round calendar of entertaining events. These include SunFest - Florida's largest music, arts and waterfront festival. The Palm Beach International Boat Show, and Clematis by Night, a musical block party held every Thursday.

Convention & Entertainment District

The state-of-the-art Palm Beach County Convention Center is home to a collection of the world's most highly-regarded art exhibitions and interest array of annual events. Its elegant architecture lends well to the prestigious, American International Fine Art Fair, Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show, Palm Beach Fine Craft Show, and ArtPalmBeach. The District, which encompasses the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and CityPlace, is just across the street. For great entertainment, check out the Palm Beach Kennel Club and the World Series of Poker - an action-packed event on the Las Vegas National Championship circuit.

Kravis Center for the Performing Arts

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, located in West Palm Beach, Florida, is one of the premier performing arts centers in the Southeast with a growing national and international reputation. For 25 years the number of events hosted annually has grown to more than 800. During the 2016-2017 season, the Kravis Center itself will present more than 400 performances featuring acclaimed artists from every discipline. Established as a leading force in the social fabric of the community, its many outreach programs are as broad and varied as the community itself.

Norton Museum of Art

Founded in 1941 by Ralph Hubbard Norton and Elizabeth Norton, the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida, is internationally known for its distinguished collection, featuring American, Chinese, Contemporary, and European art, and Photography.

Rapids Water Park

Rapids Water Park is South Florida's largest water park with over 30 action packed acres of attractions, including 42 of the biggest, wettest, most thrilling water slides and attractions. Rapids Water Park features a full day of fun for the entire family with 35 thrilling slides, a cool wave pool and a relaxing lazy river.

Diva Duck Amphibious Tours

Ever been on a bus ... that's also a boat?! Enjoy the thrill and novelty of driving around town--then diving straight into the water! The DivaDuck's innovative design will give you a unique view of Palm Beach, a town known for both beautiful historic landmarks and majestic natural scenery. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the variety of sites on the tour. View the spectacular mansions and yachts of Palm Beach from the water, see where the site of the J.F. Kennedy Bomb Shelter at Peanut Island is located while enjoying the informative narration from our lively tour guide and Captain.

Ocean Snorkeling Cruise

Cruise from Lake Park Marina aboard Keylypso to the island of Palm Beach. The Keylypso crew will keep you entertained with stories of Palm Beach's colorful history. We will amaze you with stories about its residents both rich, famous and infamous. "Keylypso" is a custom 34' power catamaran and is Coast Guard Certified. Keylypso is built for cruising and snorkeling and is very stable.

McCarthy's Wildlife Sanctuary

McCarthy's Wildlife is the number #1 rated attraction in West Palm Beach. This is a very exciting and thrilling adventure and you probably won't be able to get this close to these amazing animals at any zoo or safari ride. Also this is an opportunity for some amazing photographs. Everything from foxes to bobcats, Sandhill Cranes to pelicans, hawks, owls, and many others animals.

Palm Beach Zoo

The Palm Beach Zoo now houses over 700 animals from Florida, North, South and Central America, Australia, and Madagascar. More than 314,000 people visit each year, and over 5,900 households maintain annual memberships. The Palm Beach Zoo remains fully accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).

Lion Country Safari

Florida's only drive-through safari and walk-through amusement park invites you to spend the day on safari with over 900 animals. With animal displays and encounters, animal feeding experiences, 5 rides, water sprayground, food, shopping and more, you are sure to have a memorable experience at Lion Country Safari. In its 40th year of operation, Lion Country Safari-Florida is one of South Florida's leading attractions and Palm Beach County's largest tourist attraction. Hundreds of thousands of people visit Lion Country Safari every year to experience the thrill of eye-ball-to-eye-ball viewing of magnificent animals in a natural open environment.

Butterfly World

Butterfly World was opened in 1988 encompassing 3 acres of butterfly aviaries, botanical gardens and the working butterfly farm and research center that Boender had worked years to establish. In the years that have followed, the park has expanded to include the 2 additional aviaries for a rainbow of birds and hummingbirds, an interactive lorikeet encounter, as well as a skilled aviculture care and research staff to support these endeavors. We keep 20,000 butterflies on display. However, there are often far more. Because we are located in South Florida, this number remains unaffected by seasonal changes.


In The Palm Beaches you will discover a pastime and a passion for golf. With 17 of the top 25 ranked courses in all South Florida right in our backyard, you will always find a year-round reason to play. Whether it is hitting the links or watching golfing legends tee it up at world renowned tournaments, you are bound to find a perfect hole-in-one experience. The Palm Beaches is a home to more than 60 professional golfers including Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, Camilo Villegas and many more.

Deep Sea and Near-Shore Fishing

A charter fishing experience that is fun for all ages and anglers. Spend the day deep sea fishing in Palm Beach, Palm Beach Shores and Singer Island, Florida aboard the "Reel Intense", a custom 30 foot center console charter fishing boat. Captain Weston Russell will treat you to a Florida deep sea or inshore fishing experience that will last you a lifetime.

We regret to inform that we have to relocate Palm Beach Language Institute to another place and our office at Datura Street is closed. However, our great teachers are happy to offer private and semi-private one-to-one and two-to-one classes as well as online classes during the relocation period.

We will be offering General Enlgish, Business English for Executives, English for Children, Spanish and Foreign Languages and all other courses we have been offering for almost 10 years. Unfortuantely, we cannot offer mini-group classes during the relocation period. We can send our teacher to your hotel, office or you can have classes in the library.

English Outside the Classroom

For international students visiting Florida, we offer an exciting "English Outside the Classroom" program. You will learn Conversational English while visiting West Palm Beach and other parts of Florida with your instructor. These classes outside the classroom offer first-hand experience as the most efficient way to receive cultural orientation and and acquire general knowledge of English during the activities with your instructors.
